STUDIO DESTINÉE · LEGAL
Confidentiality Policy
Effective date: 5 October 2026
1. Our commitment
Studio Destinée treats information shared in discovery conversations, coaching, consulting, leadership circles, workshops and retreats as confidential, subject to the limits below. Each engagement agreement may define additional arrangements. Coaching confidentiality is not the same as legal professional privilege.
2. Access and use
Confidential information is used only to understand your needs and deliver the agreed service. Access is restricted to people who need it for delivery, administration or an identified legal or professional purpose. We do not publish your name, story, identifiable feedback or organisational information without specific permission.
3. Limits to confidentiality
Limited information may be disclosed with your permission; where legally required; where necessary and lawful to address a serious risk of harm, safeguarding concern or emergency; or for confidential professional advice, insurance matters or legal claims. Where lawful and safe, we discuss the concern with you first, share only what is necessary and record the reason.
4. Employer or sponsor-funded work
When an employer or sponsor funds an engagement, we agree in advance what may be reported, to whom and why. This may include attendance, agreed goals, overall progress or non-identifying programme feedback. Funding does not give automatic access to coaching notes or private disclosures.
5. Leadership circles, groups and retreats
Participants must respect each other’s privacy and must not record, photograph, screenshot, quote or share another person’s contribution without permission. General learning may be shared without identifying anyone. We cannot guarantee every participant’s conduct; tell the facilitator promptly if you believe confidentiality has been breached.
Community platforms may display your name, profile or phone number to other members. We explain this before you join. Do not post private coaching matters or another person’s information in group channels.
6. Supervision and professional development
A coach may discuss work in confidential professional supervision to maintain quality. Discussions are anonymised wherever possible. Identifiable information is not used for training or accreditation without separate permission and appropriate safeguards.
7. Recordings, transcription and AI
We do not routinely record private discovery or coaching conversations. Recording, transcription or AI note-taking requires prior explanation and specific agreement, including the tool, purpose, access and deletion period. We offer an unrecorded alternative where practicable.
We do not place identifiable client disclosures or confidential organisational material into general-purpose generative AI tools without a lawful arrangement, appropriate provider safeguards and any required permissions.
8. Organisational information and third parties
Strategy, internal documents, employee information and commercial material are used only within the agreed scope and are not shared with other clients or partners without authorisation, except where a lawful exception applies. Additional non-disclosure agreements may apply.
9. Service boundaries and concerns
Coaching and reflection tools are not emergency services or substitutes for medical care, psychotherapy or legal advice. For questions or concerns about confidentiality, email hello@studio-destinee.com. Confidentiality duties continue after an engagement ends, subject to lawful exceptions.
