STUDIO DESTINÉE · LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 5 October 2026
This policy explains how Studio Destinée collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us or use our services.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Cecilia Olayinka, a self-employed sole trader trading as Studio Destinée. Our business correspondence address will be added shortly. For privacy enquiries, requests or complaints, email hello@studio-destinee.com.
We follow applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Other laws may apply to particular international engagements.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide through enquiries, email, bookings, assessments, purchases, programme participation and conversations. This may include your name, contact details, role, organisation, service interests, correspondence, scheduling preferences, goals, assessment answers, attendance and feedback.
Our website and enabled services may process IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, timestamps, security logs and cookie preferences. We may also receive limited professional information from an employer, programme sponsor or referrer.
3. How and why we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, arrange discovery conversations, deliver coaching and programmes, administer bookings and purchases, consider partnership opportunities, maintain financial records, protect our systems and improve our services. Depending on the activity, we rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations or our legitimate interests.
Marketing messages rely on your separate consent. Enquiring, completing an assessment or booking a conversation does not automatically subscribe you. You may unsubscribe at any time.
4. Sensitive information
Please do not include health information, religious beliefs or other sensitive information in general enquiry forms. If such information is genuinely needed, we will explain the purpose and obtain explicit consent or identify another applicable legal condition before using it.
5. Assessments and recommendations
Find Your Pathway and Version Up™ are reflection tools, not clinical diagnoses. Their results suggest possible starting points and do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Contact details and answers are used only for the purposes explained when collected.
6. Who receives information
Access is limited to authorised coaches, facilitators and administrative support, and to providers needed for website hosting, forms, scheduling, email, payment, video meetings, document storage or community services. The website is operated on WordPress and hosted through Hostinger; public journeys may also use Contact Form 7 and Calendly. Providers may process information under their own notices and contractual safeguards.
For employer-sponsored work, reporting boundaries are agreed in advance. Private session content is not routinely shared with employers. We do not sell personal information.
7. International processing
Some providers or authorised team members may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards and assess the relevant transfer.
8. How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as needed for its purpose, including a proportionate follow-up period for enquiries, the engagement and a justified period afterwards for client records, and statutory periods for financial records. Marketing details remain until you unsubscribe or are removed as inactive. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required, subject to legal or dispute-related retention.
9. Security and confidentiality
We use proportionate safeguards including restricted access, secure accounts and storage, and confidentiality obligations. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information by ordinary email or public community channels.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or transfer of eligible information, and withdraw consent at any time. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Contact hello@studio-destinee.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or, where applicable, the supervisory authority in your country.
11. Cookies and third-party services
Essential technologies support operation and security. Optional analytics or marketing technologies should run only after the relevant consent. You can accept, reject or change optional choices through the website’s cookie controls. External platforms have their own privacy notices.
12. Updates
Required form fields are marked; optional information and marketing consent are not conditions of enquiry. We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change and will display the effective date above.
